We are seeking an experienced End-User Architect / Lead SME (Subject Matter Expert) to drive and enhance our end-user computing (EUC) capabilities. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing scalable solutions to deliver seamless end-user experiences. As a key technical leader, you will collaborate across teams to define architecture strategies, establish best practices, and ensure secure, efficient, and reliable end-user systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Architecture & Design
Lead the design and implementation of end-user computing solutions, including desktop virtualisation, application delivery, and collaboration tools.
Develop architecture roadmaps aligned with business objectives and emerging technologies.
Provide expertise in EUC environments, including Windows/Mac systems, mobile devices, and hybrid work setups.
2. Technical Leadership
Serve as the SME for end-user computing, advising on best practices and industry trends.
Provide guidance on deploying modern management tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, or SCCM.
Optimise end-user performance, including workspace management and application performance.
3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with IT teams, security teams, and business units to gather requirements and design user-centric solutions.
Liaise with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and recommend tools or services.
4. Security & Compliance
Ensure all end-user solutions meet compliance standards, security policies, and operational requirements.
Implement secure access controls, device management protocols, and threat detection mechanisms.
5. Operations & Support
Oversee end-user technology upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex issues impacting user productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
8+ years in IT architecture, specifically in end-user computing environments.
Proven expertise in implementing and managing technologies such as VDI (Citrix, VMware Horizon), Microsoft 365, Intune, and SCCM.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and mobile device management.
Familiarity with collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Slack.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, and Identity & Access Management.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Citrix Certified Professional, or VMware VCP-DTM.
Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
Familiarity with Zero Trust frameworks and advanced security protocols.
